ZONE 3 is a Quebec-based entertainment company committed to producing creative, engaging, and educational content. Since its founding in 2000, ZONE3 has built a strong reputation for delivering media that informs, inspires, and connects with audiences.
BRIEF The focus of this project was to explore and express ZONE 3’s core values: creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking. The branding was developed to reflect the company's role as a launchpad for fresh, diverse content that resonates with a wide audience.
IDEATION The design direction takes inspiration from the idea of the new beginnings, similar to the renewal that comes with the season spring. ZONE3’s wide-ranging content offerings calls for a visual identity that is versatile and adaptable, yet unified and clearly recognizable. The brand needed to reflect both its innovative, professional nature and also its approachable, team-oriented culture in the everyday life.
SOLUTION The logo concept merges the letter “Z” and the number “3” into a single graphic form, resembling a tree and its leaves, symbolizing growth and creativity.
A simple sans-serif typeface was selected to maintain clarity, balance, and modernity. The branding system was designed to reflect ZONE3’s dual personality: a professional and focused approach in content production, and a more of a friendly energy in the day-to-day life. For production materials, the design emphasizes clean structure and a serious tone. In applications (such as merchandise and interior elements) they feature a softer colour palette and a green-centered visual system to convey warmth, accessibility, and life.
